River Primary School - Marathon Challenge

We are delighted that you are interested in signing your child up for The School Run Marathon Challenge 2021.

We would love you to join our school challenge by getting out to enjoy the warmer weather, whether running or walking, however you like to complete the 26.2 miles!

Our marathon challenge is a straightforward but motivating concept – run/walk the distance equivalent to a marathon, not in one go but over a period of time.

To show you how manageable this is, you could complete 6.5 miles a week for 4 weeks to reach 26.2 miles or why not aim for a mile a day and you will just exceed the 26.2 miles.

Keep track of your distance as you go along and when you've reached the magic number, you will receive a fantastic River Primary School marathon medal. 

Remember, when you are completing your marathon distance you must do so as safely as possible, observing government guidelines and social distancing rules.

To enter this challenge costs just £2.99. Entries open on Monday 26th April with the closure on Monday 10th May 2021.

The challenge will begin on Monday 24th May and you have until Friday 18th June 2021.

We will then celebrate all of your successes within our National Sports week.

Together with the medal, we will also present you with a personalised certificate. Your medal will be sent directly to the school so please add the school address when prompted to enter a delivery address at checkout.
